Thank you for your interest in supporting the Grant School, home of the Pickering Community Club.

The club’s primary mission is to preserve and maintain Mason County’s one-room schoolhouse and grounds. As you can imagine, maintaining this historic building is an ongoing effort. Past improvement projects include exterior painting, electrical upgrades, a new roof, floors refurbished and kitchen modernization.

The schoolhouse also serves as a community meeting place and educational center. The club provides financial support of an educational/scholastic nature to local schools and the community.

To accomplish this work, the club relies on numerous ways to raise funds, including:

  • Dues

  • Fundraising events

  • Grants

  • Venue rentals

  • Donations

The Pickering Community Club is a 501 (C)(3) non-profit organization and is eligible to receive grant funding. The club is approved by Benevity to receive corporate matches and donations. Donations to this organization may be tax deductible.
